Fundraising
Annual benefits allowed Horizon to celebrate the volunteers, staff, caregivers, donors, and administration that made Horizon Hospice possible. It was also an opportunity to fundraise, and to communicate the organization’s mission and services to Horizon Hospice donors and the wider community. Benefits were held at a wide variety of restaurants, event spaces, and cultural centers around the city. They typically included food, drinks, and entertainment. They also played host to large auctions--for items, events, or experiences—and the proceeds from which went towards Horizon’s many health services.
