Living together

City services, housing, education, green space, and cultural and entertainment venues were one essential component making Chicago "livable." In the next section, interviewees reflect on a second component, helping Chicagoans live together. They comment on Mayor Richard M. Daley's efforts to meet the needs of Chicago's neighborhoods and embrace the city's diversity.
